Eyelash Extensions are often confused with the clusters of knotted lashes also known as party lashes, that can be used for a single event. Once you have had single eyelash extensions you will realise there is no comparison between the two applications.
Extensions are semi-permanent, synthetic lashes that are glued meticulously one by one onto the natural lash (not the skin) by using a specially formulated adhestive. The extensions will last 2-4 weeks depending on your lash cycle, how you sleep and how well you care for your extensions. On average our clients book in for in-fills every three weeks.

Once you have your eyelash extensions applied the results will have you wanting to look in the mirror time and time again and people will comment on how wonderful you look but won't quite know what is different. But you must treat your extensions with kindness with a few simple rules.
Sadly at the Eyelash Boutique we are seeing more and more upset ladies that have been to other operators paying up to $300 for eyelash extensions that have either fallen off within a couple of days or so much glue has been used they look awful and are uncomfortable with glue all over the skin due to the operator being untrained and messy work due to rushing the application and taking short cuts. We are also seeing clients that have had their lashes cut by other operators. We ensure you that at the Eyelash Boutique we do not cut lashes (sometimes referred to as "slicing") when doing in-fills. We take the time and care using our technique to remove any extensions.

attending beauty expos in Australia and attended the IECSC Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference in Las Vegas in April 2010.
